The Traditional English Longbow is a powerful type of bow that is made from wood that was used in Medieval times for hunting and as a weapon for warfare.
Traditional Longbow Shooting is an inclusive and interesting activity which is perfect for Medieval themed events or for events held at historical venues such as castles.
Fully qualified instructors supervise the session and participants can learn this ancient sport by using top quality traditional-style equipment. With expert tuition, delegates will quickly learn how to load the longbow and can begin putting their accuracy skills to the test. They'll be like Robin Hood and his band of merry men in no time!
Traditional Longbow Shooting is an excellent participant activity requiring skill, judgement and good hand-eye coordination, making it an ideal team building activity. It’s certainly not as easy as it looks!
Traditional Longbow Shooting is suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness, making this activity a very accessible choice for events such as corporate team building, staff away days and hen and stag parties. The activity is great fun for those who participate, but it is enjoyable for spectators as well.

Participants will then take it in turns to shoot some arrows themselves in a practice session.
